Biography

Alexandra Roos is a French singer-songwriter born in 1970 in Saint-Cloud. Roos achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by French chanson, rock, and folk. Her recording career began with the debut studio recording A7 (1997) released on the label Tréma. Roos achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Quand à Tokyo un papillon bat des ailes (2000). She achieved professional recognition for traveling to Tucson in 2004 to record the studio recording Fanfares (2004) with the engineer Craig Schumacher. Roos achieved professional recognition for performing as the opening act for the musician Nancy Sinatra and the musician Willy DeVille at the festival Printemps de Bourges in April 2005. Her discography included the studio recording Huit de pique (2007) which was produced by the musician Ian Caple and released on the label Naïve Records. She achieved professional recognition for performing three concerts at the venue the Boule Noire in 2007. Roos achieved professional recognition for withdrawing from music to pursue a career in perfume creation. She achieved professional recognition for resuming musical activity in 2012 by performing the duet "La Petite Auto" on the studio recording Ça se traverse et c'est beau (2012) by the musician Juliette Gréco.
