Alejandra Margarita Ãvalos RodrÃguez, born on October 17, 1965, in Mexico City, is a Mexican singer, musician, and actress. She began her career at age 14 with an unofficial debut on La Voz del Heraldo in 1980. From 1980 to 1982, she received a scholarship from the organizing committee of El Heraldo, which led to her first professional jobs through modeling and television promotions. Alejandra Ãvalos' music career took off when she signed with Warner Bros. Records - Atlantic Records - Elektra Records in 1987, facilitated by Luis Miguel, Luis Rey, and René León. She released her debut album Ser o no ser in 1988, followed by Amor FascÃname (1990) and Amor sin dueño (1991), both produced by Juan Carlos Calderón. In 1992, she embarked on her first international tour, which lasted three years. Alejandra Ãvalos transitioned to Sony Music in 1996, releasing the ranchera album Mi corazón se regala. She continued her acting career with notable roles in films like Perdóname Todo (1995) and television series such as Soñadoras (1998). In 2005, she released Radio Diva, her first Big Band album. Throughout her career, Alejandra Ãvalos has collaborated with prominent figures like Vicente Fernández and José José, and her work has been distributed in over 120 countries across 23 languages. Subsequent albums include Te Sigo Queriendo (2014), México Majestuoso (2018), and Muy Mexicana (2021).
