Biography
Born May 28, 1968 in Trieste, Italy, Aldevis Tibaldi is a jazz saxophonist, composer, and arranger. He studied at The Giuseppe Tartini State Conservatory of Trieste, developing a strong interest in jazz in 1985. He moved to Florence, Italy in 1990 to pursue work in a wider variety of genres. He played with many different bands at that time including the Michael Allen Band, Leonardo Pieriâs Lo Squalo Giallo, Stefano Bollani and others. Relocating to London in 2004, he became a very busy musician, playing and/or recording with artists such as Jay Craig, Ian Pierce, Frank Griffith, Guillemots, Paloma Faith, Mitch Winehouse, Ronnie Wood, Ronnie King, Tatiana Okupnik, Julian Stewart-Lindsay, and many others. In 2009, Tibaldi became the resident saxophone teacher in Hampton Court House, Surrey. He also managed to release two critically successful solo albums: 1998âs Refuso (Typo) and Twentysix Three (2015)
