Biography

Carlos Alberto Pizarro, known professionally as Alberto Stylee, was a Puerto Rican reggaetón singer and songwriter born on March 18, 1975. He began his career in 1995 by participating in various dance and hip-hop improvisation competitions. In 1998, he released his first solo album, Exclusivo, which was nominated for Best "Rap and Reggae Album of the Year" at the Premio Tu Música Awards. Alberto Stylee's breakthrough came with hits such as "Letra de posición" with Daddy Yankee and "Te imagino" with J Álvarez in the late 1990s. He gained further recognition with albums like Los Dueños de la Disco (2002), featuring collaborations with Nicky Jam, Daddy Yankee, Maicol & Manuel, and Plan B. In 2004, he released his second reggaeton album, Rebuleando Con Estilo, which solidified his status in the genre. Alberto Stylee's career saw a resurgence after his release from prison, with new singles including "Me enamoré" and "Llamada perdida" in 2014.
