Alberto Morán, born Remo Andrea Domenico Recagno on March 15, 1922, in Strevi, Italy, was an Argentine tango singer. He moved to Buenos Aires at age four and started his career singing in local formations before joining Cristóbal Herreros' orchestra. His breakthrough came when Osvaldo Pugliese invited him to Radio El Mundo, leading to a contract. With Pugliese, Morán recorded 54 tracks from January 1945 to March 1954, including notable interpretations of "La mentirosa" and "Quiero verte una vez más". In August 1954, Morán formed his own orchestra with pianist Armando Cupo. His repertoire included popular songs like "San José de Flores" and "Pasional". He passed away in Buenos Aires on August 16, 1997.
