Biography

Albert Cummings, born in 1967 in Williamstown, Massachusetts, is an American blues musician known for his guitar skills. He began playing music at age twelve, starting with the banjo before transitioning to the guitar. His early influences included bluegrass and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Albert Cummings' first performance was in 1997 at a friend's wedding reception. In 2000, he released The Long Way with his band Swamp Yankee. This album led to collaborations with Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton on his debut solo album, From The Heart, in 2003. Albert Cummings signed with Blind Pig Records in 2004 and released True To Yourself. His subsequent albums include Working Man (2006) and the live recording Feel So Good: Albert Cummings Live (2008). In 2015, he released Someone Like You, produced by David Z.
