Biography

Heather "Aslyn" Mitchell Nash, born September 21, 1980 in West Florida and raised in Chiefland, Florida, is an American pop singer and songwriter. She began taking piano lessons at age seven and quickly immersed herself in the music scene, performing at various events. After graduating from Carson-Newman College, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she started her music career. Aslyn's debut album Lemon Love was released in 2005, featuring the singles "Be The Girl" and "Gotta Get Over You". She later toured the US with headliners like Ryan Cabrera, Better Than Ezra, and Gavin DeGraw. Her second album, The Dandelion Sessions, was released in 2009. Aslyn also contributed vocals to her husband Kalen Nash's Ukred album and formed the duo DEGA with him.
