Adiam Dymott, born on December 17, 1982, in Uppsala, Sweden, is a Swedish singer of Eritrean descent. After working as a receptionist in a Stockholm studio, she sang for various songwriters and met producer Thomasâ¯Rusiak, who helped her record her first demo in 2008. Her breakthrough came in early 2009 when the single "Miss You" topped the Swedish iTunes chart and earned a nomination for the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Swedish Act. Adiam Dymott released her selfâtitled debut album Adiamâ¯Dymott in Marchâ¯2009, peaking at numberâ¯14 on the Swedish Top 20. In 2010 she issued "Catch Me If You Can" with Björnâ¯DixgÃ¥rd of Mando Diao. After a brief hiatus, she returned in 2015 with the EP Darkâ¯Lakeâ¯(EPâ¯1) and in 2016 released her second album Blackâ¯Wedding and the EP Quietâ¯Desperationâ¯(EPâ¯2).
