Addictiv is a Canadian R&B and urban pop singer from Montreal, Quebec. She is known for her fusion of modern R&B, urban pop and dance influences. She began her musical career as a backing singer in local studios, before collaborating with Canadian artists and opening for international acts such as Erykah Badu and Ashanti. Her first single, "Little Game", released in 2006, reached the Canadian Hit 30 and CHR Top 40 charts. In 2008, she was nominated twice at the Canadian Radio Music Awards, for Best New Group and Best New Solo Artist or Group - Dance/Urban/Rhythmic. Her hit single "Tonite " charted in CHUM's Top 30 and peaked at #48 on the Canadian Hot 100, and her follow-up, "Over It" (2009), produced by DJ/producer Cajjmere Wray, reached #59 on the Canadian Hot 100. Addictiv then released the singles "No Sleep" (2017) and "To the Bank" (2018).
