Biography
A worthy representative of Southern rap, Premro Smith aka 8Ball formed the tandem 8Ball & MJG in 1989, a duo that would go on to mark the history of Southern Rap with such recording nuggets as 1995's On Top of the World , released on the legendary Suave Records label. Or Living Legends on Puff Daddy's label, Bad Boy Records. At the same time, the Memphis MC pursued a solo career, releasing a range of albums including Life's Quest, released in July 2012.
