Biography
2000 Won was formed in 2013 by Kim Hyoâbin and Kim Ilâdo, both born in 1990 in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The duo, with Hyoâbin as vocalist and Ilâdo as rapper, first gained attention as contestants on Kâpop Star 2, finishing in the top four and securing a contract with Reve Entertainment in July 2013. Their official debut followed on 14â¯Marchâ¯2014 with the single "Beautiful", accompanied by a teaser featuring singer Ailee; the track entered the Korean charts and established the groupâs presence in the Kâpop scene. On 11â¯Aprilâ¯2014, they released their debut EP, 2000Wonâ¯1st Mini Album, which included the title track "Beautiful" and additional songs that showcased their blend of Kâhip hop and pop. Subsequent releases included the single "Goodâ¯Bam" in Mayâ¯2015, "4thâ¯Single" in Februaryâ¯2018, and "5thâ¯Single" in Februaryâ¯2020.
