Biography
Zonmai is a French artist based in Brussels, active since 2020 on SoundCloud, where she has made a name for herself with her avant-garde musical approach. At the crossroads of French rap, UK influences, alternative pop and French chanson, she develops a hybrid aesthetic marked by a singular phrasing and an assumed use of autotune. Since 2022, she has affirmed her artistic progression through a series of EPs: Cool Kiss, a raw and immersive first project, Oula, more introspective, then SunCash Feelings, with its assertive rhythms. In 2024, she continued her evolution with Birthday Saison, a dense, contrasting project that explores new sonic balances between gentleness and tension. Alongside her discography, Zonmai has established herself on the live scene with nearly forty concerts, including notable appearances at the Dour Festival, Les Ardentes, Core Festival and La Maroquinerie.
