Yūsei Yagi was born on 6 May 1997 in Setagaya, Tokyo, and is a Japanese singer and actor. He began life as a soccer player, attending Hori Kō High School and university on a sports scholarship, but a ligament injury in 2017 forced him to step away from the field; the same year he passed VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 5, joining FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE under LDH JAPAN. Yūsei Yagi made his acting debut in the 2020 television drama Mannequin Night Fever and over the next years appeared in a string of series, including the 2026 drama LOVED ONE. His solo music career launched on 10 June 2026 with the digital single "Game Changer", marking his first independent release. In 2023 he released his first photo book, CONTACT, and has been featured in campaigns for Coca‑Cola, McDonald’s, and other brands. Yūsei Yagi received the 2022 Soul Drama Award for Best New Actor, the 2023 Soul Drama Award for Best Supporting Actor, and the 2024 Nissin Sports Drama Grand Prix for Best Supporting Actor, among other accolades such as the ViVi “Kokuhoukyu Ikemen” ranking first place in both seasons.
