Biography

Yevgeny Kutik, a Belarusian-American violinist born in 1985, debuted his career with an appearance with the Boston Pops and Maestro Keith Lockhart in 2003. This debut came as he won first prize at the Boston Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition. He has performed solo recitals and concertos worldwide. In 2006, Kutik received the Salon de Virtuosi Grant and the Tanglewood Music Center Jules Reiner Violin Prize. His notable performances include his Lincoln Center debut in 2011 at Alice Tully Hall with the Riverside Symphony. He has also been a keynote speaker for the Jewish Federations of North America Speakers Bureau. His debut album Sound of Defiance, self-produced and funded through Kickstarter, released in January 2012
