Yahya Hawwa was born on March 15, 1976, in Hama, Syria. He is an artist who began his artistic career at an early age, memorizing the Koran with an Ijazah (a connected chain of transmission to Muhammad) and earning a master's degree in psychology. His professional debut came in 1996 with the release of his first album, We Have Come to You. He gained significant recognition in 2006 with the song "My Whole Life is for God", which was broadcast on many satellite channels and translated into multiple languages. Hawwa has performed in hundreds of concerts worldwide, visiting nearly 40 countries. He received an Oscar Award at the Cairo International Festival in 2009â2010 and was appointed as an ambassador for humanity by several charitable institutions.
