Biography
WZRD is an American rock band and music production team made up of long-time friends and regular collaborators Dot da Genius and Kid Cudi. Formed in New York in 2010, Cudi originally named the band Wizard, inspired by the eponymous song by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath. However, Cudi renamed the band twice: first in April 2011 with 2 Be Continuum, then again in November 2011. This unusual association, heavily influenced by emo rock, resulted in a single album released in 2012, WZRD, accompanied by the singles "Brake " and "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie".
