Biography

Wouter Hamel mixes jazz with pop as he tours and records with his band. He came to fame at the age of 30 in 1977 with his debut album 'Hamel'. This followed his victory at the Dutch Jazz Vocal Competition in 2005. The album remained in the top 20 of the Dutch charts for more than a year and was followed by four more albums all on the Dox Record label.
