Wolf, a Swedish heavy metal band from Ãrebro, was formed in 1995 by Niklas StÃ¥lvind on vocals and guitar, Mikael Goding on bass, and Daniel Bergkvist on drums. The group released their first demo recordings Devil Eyes and Damnation in 1995, followed by the single "The Howling Scares Me to Death" under the label Beast in August 1999. Their debut album Wolf, produced by Peter Tägtgren, was released in April 2000 and included the track "Moonlight". In 2003, Wolf embarked on the Heavy Metal Thunder tour alongside Nocturnal Rites and Evidence One. Their third album Evil Star (2004) included covers of "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue Ãyster Cult and "Die By the Sword" by Slayer. In 2006, they released The Black Flame, produced by Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg. Their seventh album Dark Seed (2014) marked a shift towards dark metal and they returned in 2022 with Shadowland.
