Biography

William Deslauriers, born on April 18, 1990, in Plessisville, Quebec, is a singer. He gained prominence by participating in the 2009 season of Star Académie québécoise. His breakthrough came with "Recommencer tout à zéro", the lead single from his debut album Un pied à terre, which was released in 2010. The song topped the ADISQ chart for 20 consecutive weeks, setting a record for the most-played Francophone song on Canadian radio. Deslauriers' second album, Aux quatre coins de ma tête, was released in 2013. Notable achievements include winning the SOCAN Popular Song Award in 2010 and 2012 for "Recommencer tout à zéro" and "Je lève mon verre", respectively. He also received multiple Félix Award nominations, including Album of the Year and Male Performer of the Year.
