Wildcat! Wildcat!, an American synthpop band from Los Angeles, was formed in 2012 by Jesse Taylor, Michael Wilson, and Jesse Carmichael. The group released several singles in early 2012, including "Mr. Quiche." They gained initial traction opening for Alt-J on their Western U.S. tour in December 2012. The band issued their first EP, Wildcat! Wildcat!, through Downtown Records in 2013. The band played at South by Southwest and appeared in the documentary Hello Everywhere, directed by Sam Jones. Their debut full-length album, No Moon At All, was released in 2014 and peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Notable singles from this period include "Straight to the Top" and "Relentless," both released in 2016.
