Agnese Cacciola, known professionally as Neja, was born on August 15, 1972, in Rivoli, Italy. She began her music career with an initial focus on dance and electronic music genres. In the late 1990s, Neja released her first singles: "Hallo" (1997), "Restless" and "Shock!" (both 1998). These early releases set the stage for her debut album, The Game, which was released in 1999 under New Music International. Neja's career progressed with several singles, including "Mum's Day" (2000), "Looking 4 Something" (2002), and "To The Music" and "Hot Stuff" (both 2003). She continued to release notable singles such as "Fairytale" (Dance Version) (2000), "Singin' Nanana" (2000), "Time Flies" (2001), and "Back 4 The Morning" (2001). In 2007, Neja collaborated with French DJ Benjamin Braxton on the single "Catwalk". Her album AcoustiClub, released in 2008 under Exclaim Productions / Self Distribuzione, featured an acoustic version of Rihanna's "Umbrella". Neja continued to explore different styles with albums like 133SushiClub (2009) and its sequels. Throughout her career, she collaborated with various artists, including Lanfranchi e Farina on the single "Sorry" (2010).
