Walk On Fire, a British melodic rock band formed in 1987 by David Cairns and Alan King. They signed to UNI/MCA Records in the US and MCA in the UK. Their album Blind Faith (1989) featured two minor hit singles, "Blind Faith" and "Wastelands". The band toured extensively with acts such as Foreigner and The Dan Reed Network, but faced financial issues leading to their dismissal from MCA Records despite selling over 245,000 units worldwide. Post-breakup, Alan King performed in Jeff Wayne's Spartacus while David Cairns managed special projects for Gibson Guitars USA. Michael Casswell joined Brian Mayâs touring band and later collaborated with Cozy Powell. The band's second album, Mind Over Matter, was released in 2017, written and produced by David Cairns.
