Biography

Victoria Eleison, a Congolese musical group founded and led by King Kester Emeneya, was established on December 24, 1982, following a split from Papa Wemba's Viva la Musica. Throughout their career, Victoria Eleison produced numerous albums including "Sango Mabala Commission" (1984), "Okosi Ngai Mfumu" (1983), and Live in Japan (1993). The group's discography also includes live performances such as Rendre à César… ce qui est à César (2002) and Skol (2005), showcasing their dynamic stage presence. Victoria Eleison's music has been celebrated for its contributions to Congolese rumba, with notable songs like "Mokosa" from the 1990 album of the same name. The group continues to be recognized for its enduring impact on Congolese music culture.
