Biography
Bruno Sanfilippo, born September 13, 1965 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a composer and pianist. He began playing piano at a young age, influenced by classical composers such as Erik Satie, Claude Debussy, and Maurice Ravel. In 1988, he graduated from the Galvani Conservatory with a degree in Musical Composition. His debut album Sons Of The Light was released in 1991. He established Ad21 music, his personal label, in 1998. Sanfilippo moved to Barcelona, Spain in 2000. Notable releases include The New Kingdom (1995) and Suite Patagonia (2000). He performed at international festivals such as the Insolit Music Forum in Barcelona in 2007 and the London International Festival of Exploratory Music in 2015. A sample of his composition "Ambessence Piano & Drones 1" was used in Drake's 2013 song "Started from the Bottom".
