Biography
Veeko Morlet, better known as Veeko, is a French nu jazz drummer. A native of Aulnoye-Aymeries, in the Nord region of France, he discovered drums at the age of five during a vacation, and later, as a teenager, studied music to become a professional musician. He collaborated with numerous artists, including Pharrell Williams, rappers Georgio, Bekar, Swing, Scylla, Primero, Béesau and also Joanna, Theodora, Voyou and French saxophonist Ferdi, before going solo. In 2024, he released his first single, "Bukavu", followed by "London Beach" and "Signs" with Peet. A new series of tracks followed in 2025 with "The War with You" and "Rose piscine" with Ferdi, which together with "November" and "Amistad" with Sofiane Pamart made up his debut album House of Birds. Released in November 2025, it reached No. 25 on the SNEP chart of jazz albums in France.
