Biography
Vanna, an American hardcore and melodic hardcore band from Boston, was formed in December 2004 by Nicholas Lambert and Evan Pharmakis. The group released their debut EP, This Will Be Our Little Secret, in August 2005 before signing with Epitaph Records. Their first studio album, Curses, appeared on April 24, 2007. The band released their second album, A New Hope, on March 24, 2009, which reached number 31 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. In August 2010, the ensemble signed with Artery Recordings and issued the albums And They Came Baring Bones (2011) and The Few and the Far Between (2013). Vanna subsequently signed with Pure Noise Records in February 2014 and performed at the 2014 Vans Warped Tour. Following the release of the albums Void (2014) and All Hell (2016), the group became inactive on December 15, 2017. The members performed as INSPIRIT between 2020 and 2025 before resuming activity as Vanna in February 2025.
