DED, an American nu metal band from Tempe, Arizona, formed in 2016. The group initially consisted of Joe Cotela on lead vocals, Matt Reinhard on drums, Kyle Koelsch on bass and backing vocals, and David Ludlow on guitars and backing vocals. Their debut track "FMFY" was released in December 2016, followed by their first radio single "Anti-Everything" in February 2017. The band's debut studio album Mis-An-Thrope was released on July 21, 2017. In April 2020, they released the EP Mannequin Eyes, featuring the songs "A Mannequin Idol (Lullaby)" and "Eyes Sewn Shut." Their second studio album School of Thought was released on October 15, 2021. DED has toured with notable acts such as Korn, Stone Sour, and In This Moment, and performed at various rock festivals including Carolina Rebellion and Rock on the Range.
