Biography
The Trio Joubran is made up of three Palestinian brothers with Israeli citizenship. These oud virtuosos formed the group in 2003 in the wake of Samir Joubran, the elder brother, who was already engaged in a personal career. Noted at numerous international festivals, particularly in France, the Trio Joubran began their recording career. Randana (2005), Majâz (2007 ) and A l'Ombre des Mots (2009) reveal their delicate, subtle music. The Trio Joubran is also involved in film music: Adieu Gary in 2009 draws on Majâz to illustrate its images. Le Dernier Vol (2010) also benefits from the romantic force of the Trio Joubran's music.
