Biography

Toshiyuki Toyonaga, born 豊永 利行 on 28 April 1984 in Hachiōji, Tokyo, is a Japanese singer, voice actor, and composer whose career began in 1994 with stage performances and expanded into voice work by 2002. Toyonaga’s first major music release came with the single "Reason" on 17 December 2014, followed by his debut album Music of the Entertainment the same year. He continued with the EP C"LR"OWN in 2016, and his full‑length album 光へ on 17 April 2019, which charted within Japan’s top thirty. The single "Reason..." from 光へ reached the top forty on the Oricon singles chart. In 2021 Toyonaga released the album Link Click on 8 December, followed by Charactanswer on 29 November 2023, a collection of character‑themed tracks linked to his long‑running voice roles. Toyonaga earned the Seiyu Award for Best Lead Actor in 2018, reflecting his dual success in voice acting and music. His work has consistently appeared on Japanese charts, and his releases continue to support ongoing anime projects.
