Tom Ibarra, born Thomas Ibarra on October 3, 1999, in Hyères, France, is a guitarist and composer specializing in jazz and jazz fusion. He began playing guitar at age six and started composing at eleven. In 2015, he won the Sacem Jeune Talent prize. Ibarra gained wider recognition after receiving the Rising Stars Jazz Award in December 2017. He has performed extensively across Europe, both with the Tom Ibarra Group and in various jazz festivals. In 2021, he released his album Luma. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with prominent musicians such as Didier Lockwood, Marcus Miller, André Ceccarelli, and Jean-Michel Pilc.
