Born Thien Huong Ton Nu Thi on February 8, 1944 in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Tiny Young is a French singer. She recorded her first album in March 1961, entitled Le Monde de Suzie Wong . The following month, she presented her first EP on the Discorama TV show. That same year, she was cast in the crime film Le Jeu de la Vérité, released in November. In 1962, Tiny Young presented her second EP, which won the Marco Polo Prize that same year. She went on to star in a second film, Marco Polo . In April 1963, she records her biggest career hit, " Tais toi petite folle ", the French version of The Shirelles' song " Foolish Little Girl ". This was followed by the hits " Mon Chien et moi ", " Ma Poupée ", " Tu es seule " and " Un Seul garçon sur Terre ". In 1964, she returned to the cinema with a role in the war drama Les Parias de la Gloire . From 1961 to 1966, she produced an album and ten singles. In 1967, she won a role in the feature film La Blonde de Pékin . She later abandoned her musical career, opening Asian restaurants in France during the 1970s.
