Timothy E. Easton, also known as Tim Easton, born April 25, 1966, in Lewiston, New York, is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter known for his work in rock and roll, folk, and Americana music. Easton formed the band Kosher Spears while at college and later traveled abroad, busking in various European cities. Upon returning to the US in the mid-1990s, he joined the Haynes Boys, releasing their only album, Guardian Angel, in 1996. After the band's disbandment, Easton launched his solo career with Special 20 (1998) on Heathen Records and subsequently signed with New West Records. He released several albums, including The Truth About Us (2001), Break Your Mother's Heart (2003), and Ammunition (2006). Easton has also been part of the group Easton Stagger Phillips, releasing One for the Ditch (2008) and Resolution Road (2014). His album Porcupine won the 9th Annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop vote for best Album Packaging.
