Biography

This Is Ivy League was an American indie band formed in 2005 by Ryland Blackinton and Alex Suarez. The duo, who met in high school in 1997, began collaborating after discovering they lived near each other in Brooklyn, New York. The band released the London Bridges EP in 2006. This Is Ivy League's debut album, This Is Ivy League, was released in 2008 via TwentySeven Records. The band recorded their releases between their Brooklyn apartments while Suarez continued to tour with Cobra Starship.
