Biography

Therr Maitz is a Russian indie band formed in 2004 by musician Anton Belyaev. The group's early roots trace back to Belyaev's jam sessions on the radio station New Life in Magadan during his studies at Academic School of Music. Therr Maitz initially gained traction with their debut album Sweet Oldies in 2010, which compiled tracks from their early period. The band's breakthrough came with the release of "Make It Last" in February 2014, which topped the singles chart in Russia for a week and was featured in the soundtrack to the movie Some Like It cold. They released their second album Unicorn in March 2015. The band received the award for Best Russian Artist at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards.
