Formed by guitarist Sinatrya âRakaâ Dharaka and drummer Tommy Satwick, Thee Marloes started as a passion project, with Raka experimenting with songwriting influenced by hip-hop and alternative rock. Their lineup solidified in 2019 when they discovered Natassya Sianturi, a vocalist with a background in church choirs and inspirations ranging from The Jackson 5 to Erykah Badu. Together, they developed a sound that fuses jazz, soul, and pop with Indonesian flair. With no existing local scene to model, Thee Marloes carved their own path, recording in a home studio where creativity thrived. Their debut album, Perak, showcases this originality, featuring tracks like the funky âMidnight Hotlineâ and the soulful ballad âBeri Cinta Waktuâ sung in Indonesian. Prior to their debut album, they have released multiple singles and EPs, including "Nanti" (2020), "Midnight Hotline" (2023) and the EP "Mungkin Saja" (2024).
