Biography

The Network, a new wave band from the United States of America, formed in 2003. The group is known as a side-project of Green Day and consists of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, Tré Cool, Jason Freese, and Ronnie Blake. Their debut album, Money Money 2020, was released on September 30, 2003. Despite the band's denials, similarities between The Network and Green Day, including vocal resemblance and thematic content, led to widespread speculation about their connection. In December 2020, The Network released Money Money 2020 Pt II: We Told Ya So!. The group is known for their masked appearances and eccentric stage personas.
