Biography

Artists regularly proclaim that they're playing rock 'n' roll, the real thing, the pure, hard rock of the pioneers. The Jim Jones Revue is part of this brotherhood of defenders of a so-called golden age of rock, a mistaken vision given that rock has always been in constant evolution. The Jim Jones Revue has a bold, direct and energetic sound, and an interpretation of classics like Little Richard's "Hey Hey Hey Hey" that Dr. Feelgood wouldn't have missed. Produced by Jim Sclavunos of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Burn Your House Down received an excellent reception in the UK in 2010. Still somewhere between distorted rock 'n' roll and garage rock, The Jim Jones Revue asserts its convictions on The Savage Heart in October 2012.
