Justin Heazlewood, known as The Bedroom Philosopher, was born on June 12, 1980, in Burnie, Tasmania, Australia, and was a musician and comedian. In 2002, he submitted a radio piece for the ABC Heywire competition, which led to regular musical appearances on Triple J's The Morning Show. His first album, Living on the Edge of My Bed, was released in 2003 and featured tracks from his radio performances. The Bedroom Philosopher gained significant attention with his 2005 album In Bed with My Doona, which included the single "I'm So Post Modern", reaching number 72 in Triple J's Hottest 100. His subsequent albums included Brown and Orange (2009), Songs from the 86 Tram (2010), and Funemployed LP (2015). The Bedroom Philosopher performed at various music festivals, including Big Day Out and Falls Festival, and won the Director's Choice award for outstanding show in 2009.
