Biography
Bausa was founded in 2021 in Bærum near Oslo. The band consists of Edvard Bræin Groth, Fredrik von Krogh and Philip Bergenstjerna. All three musicians are from Norway. Bausa is a trio in the field of pop and electronic party music. The group began with so-called Russemusikk, a Norwegian youth and graduating class genre with a strong focus on dance music and events. From 2021, the band released its first tracks in the context of this scene. 2022 sees the first major success in Norway with "Mawbys". A nationwide breakthrough followed in 2023 with "Turné". The song reached number 2 in the Norwegian singles charts and was nominated for Song of the Year. 2024 sees the release of the debut album Ung & Dum. The album combines house, funk and pop elements with classic Russemusikk structures. The single "Overfladisk" follows in 2025, shifting the style more towards mainstream-oriented pop music. The single "Magnetic" follows in early 2026.
