The Axis of Perdition, a British industrial black metal band from Middlesbrough, England, was formed in 2001 by Tetsuo Unit BRJ (Brooke Johnson) and Test Subject MGB (Michael Blenkarn). The duo began their musical journey with the release of Corridors, a split EP with Pulsefear in 2002. Their debut album, The Ichneumon Method (and Less Welcome Techniques) was released in 2003, followed by albums such as Deleted Scenes from the Transition Hospital in 2005 and Urfe in 2008. In 2013, the group disbanded due to a mutual agreement between Blenkarn and Johnson but reunited in 2019 under the name An Axis of Perdition.
