Biography

The Almighty Defenders was an impromptu supergroup formed in February 2009 in Berlin, Germany. The band consisted of members from Black Lips and King Khan & BBQ Show. After fleeing India during their 2009 tour due to public indecency allegations, the Black Lips members sought refuge with King Khan in Berlin. This unexpected collaboration led to the creation of The Almighty Defenders, resulting in a rough and homemade album recorded in true Black Lips boozy fashion. The self-titled debut album, The Almighty Defenders, was released in 2009 and featured tracks such as "All My Loving" and "Bow Down & Die".
