Motte (모í¸), born Kim Eun-ji on March 28, 1996, in Seoul, South Korea, is a singer-songwriter and musician recognized for her soulful blend of indie, R&B, and pop. She made her official debut on September 8, 2017, with the single "Tickinâ", introducing her distinctive voice and emotional storytelling to the Korean music scene. In the following year, she released her first full-length album, Between (October 17, 2018), which highlighted her versatility and musical depth, along with several singles such as "Backspace", "Miss", and "Deep Sleep". She also participated in the OST A-Teen, Pt. 4 (2018), which broadened her audience. Continuing to establish herself, Motte released her second major project, the EP The Things That I Love (May 27, 2021), a record that reflected her artistic growth and ability to connect with listeners on a personal level. Over the years, she has steadily built an extensive discography of digital singles, including "Conversation"(2022), "After Sunset" (2023), "Ocean" (2024), and most recently "Isle in Waves" (2025). Her participation in the music survival show Great Seoul Invasion (2022), where she ranked 45th, further boosted her visibility.
