Terry Dolan, born on August 5, 1943, in New York City, was an American singer and guitarist. In the late 1960s, he collaborated with guitarist Greg Douglass of Country Weather. In 1970, Dolan recorded two demos with Nicky Hopkins producing, featuring "Inlaws and Outlaws" and "Angie", which gained national attention in the United States. These recordings led to a deal with Warner Music Group, but the album was left unreleased for 44 years due to Warner withdrawing support. In June 1973, Dolan formed Terry and the Pirates with Douglass, John Cipollina, and other notable musicians. The group released albums on small European labels but found limited success outside their hometown. Dolan continued his local music career until his passing on January 15, 2012. In 2016, the previously unreleased album Terry Dolan was posthumously released by High Moon Records.
