Biography
Telenova is an Australian alternative pop music trio from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2020. The group consists of lead vocalist and filmmaker Angeline Armstrong, and multi-instrumentalists and producers Edward Quinn and Joshua Moriarty. Their debut single, "Bones", was released on March 18, 2021, followed by their first extended play, Tranquilize, on July 2, 2021. The band signed with Pointer Recordings, a subsidiary of Remote Control Records, and embarked on tours supporting their releases. In August 2024, Telenova released their debut studio album, Time Is a Flower. Notable singles include "Lost in the Rush". The group received recognition for their music video for "Tranquilize", directed by Daniel Bolt, who won Best Music Video at the Australian Cinematographers Society Awards on November 15, 2020.
