Tan Jing (è°æ¶), born 11 September 1977 in Houma, Shanxi, China, is a Chinese singer whose repertoire blends bel canto, Guoyue, and popular styles. After studying piano at eight and vocal lessons with her mother, she entered the Chinese Conservatory of Music, graduating in 1998, and joined the People's Liberation Army Song and Dance Ensemble. She began her solo career with the 2005 single "è±å¿è¿æ ·çº¢" and released the single "赤伶" in 2024. Her studio albums include 水墨 (2012), ææÂ·éå¾·ç» å¼ åä¸ä½å (2013), çè§ (2013), and æ¥æ±ç§æ°´ (2016). Tan Jing performed internationally, including concerts at the Golden Hall in Vienna (2006) and the Royal Albert Hall in London (2011), and served as a torchbearer and spokesperson for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where her song "天空" accompanied the dove release.
