Takeshi Washizaki (born October 26, 1973, Kobe, Japan) is a Japanese radio personality, musician, and member of the acoustic duo POARO alongside Takashi Ifukube, where he serves as vocalist, guitarist, lyricist, and composer. After meeting Ifukube at Osaka University of Arts, they formed POARO and moved to Tokyo when their talent agency relocated. Washizaki began appearing on radio programs in the late 1990s, initially as a guest guitarist, before becoming a regular on Asano Masumiâs Suparaji! in 2003. His profile rose further as co-host of the popular A&G ChÅ Radio Show Anispa! from 2004, leading to numerous hosting and MC roles at anime-related events. In music, Washizaki released his debut solo album Silly Walker in 2008, followed by Singer Song Liar in 2010, which reached No. 22 on the Oricon weekly chart and topped the indie chart. His fourth album What a Pastaful World (2015) was crowdfunded, , enabling large-scale solo concerts. He has also voiced characters in anime, debuting in Noramimi 2 (2008). Currently signed to Atomic Monkey, Washizaki remains active as a broadcaster, musician, and event host, and in recent years has also engaged in music-centered talk programs. His work includes the album Ekubogahara Hyoumutan (2025).
