Biography
Akira Omama is a Japanese male composer, born on April 23, 1988 in Tokyo, Japan. He studied composition and arrangement at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music under composer Toshiyuki Watanabe, and began writing music for TV dramas and movies around 2012, including the 2016 TV drama "Chijimi ni Sugoi! Review Girl Etsuko Kono" and the music for the 2017 film "Fool's Rocks," which made him a household name. Since then, he has continued to work on animated films and documentaries, including the film animation "Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS: Red Remnants" and the 2019 NHK special "Space Spectacle," as well as the films "Hikita-san! He has composed music for numerous films, including "Hikita-san! He has also received the Best Music Award at the 48th Japan Academy Awards for his work on the film "ShÅtai" released in 2024.
