Takafumi Sato, born Juneâ¯7,â¯1984 in Japan, is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and music producer whose career began with a 2010 entry into Bandai Namco Games, where he debuted on Idolmaster 2. He crafted signature character songs such as "Thank You!", "Brand New Theater!", and "Rat A Tat!!!" for the Idolmaster series, becoming sound director for Idolmaster Million Live! Theater Days in 2017 and music producer for the 2024 game Academy Idolmaster. In 2024 he produced "The Rolling Riceball" and later that year performed a dialogue with singer Ado on Apple Musicâs First Star Academy Music Club. After leaving Bandai Namco in Marchâ¯2025, he founded 2nd STAR PRODUCTION and released the single "Garakuta Road" in 2026.
