Cordel do Fogo Encantado was a Brazilian music group from Arcoverde, Pernambuco. The band originated as a theatrical performance in 1997, featuring poetry and theater, with members Alberone, José Paes de Lira, Clayton Barros, and Emerson Calado. In Recife, percussionists Nego Henrique and Rafa Almeida joined the group, transitioning their work into a musical spectacle during the Rec-Beat Festival in 1999. Their debut album, Cordel do Fogo Encantado, was released in 2003 under the production of Naná Vasconcelos, followed by their independently-produced second album, O Palhaço do Circo sem Futuro in 2005. In February 2010, José Paes de Lira announced his departure from Cordel do Fogo Encantado, effectively ending the group's activities but returned in 2018 with the release of the album, Viagem Ao Coração Do Sol.
