Biography
Steady & Co. is a special unit formed in 2001 by Kenshi Furuya and BOTS of Dragon Ash and belongs to WARNER MUSIC JAPAN. The members are Kenshi Furuya (born February 9, 1979, Tokyo), BOTS (born December 27, 1977, Tokyo), ILMARI (born June 17, 1975, Helsinki, Finland), and SHIGEO (born February 6, 1975, Tokyo). In the early stages of their formation, they remixed and produced music for ZEEBRA, Sugar Soul, and others, but through the Dragon Ash-sponsored "TMC" event, they became friends with SHIGEO and ILMARI, and began working as a full-fledged unit. The single "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter" released in the same year was highly acclaimed for its lyrical depiction of emotions felt with the changing of the seasons. The album also features cross-genre collaborations, including guest vocals by azumi of wyolica. While all members are talented artists who are also active in other groups, Steady & Co. is a unit that has established its own unique worldview.
